Well yesterday was weigh in Wednesday, and I think the running must have put my body in a little shock, or maybe I ate more and over compensated?  Who knows...I only lost 0.5 lbs.  Don't get me wrong, I will take that or maintaining ANY day.  I just hope this isn't the start of the dreaded plateau!

I have noticed that the day after I run, I am a little bloated, if that is even the right word, it is usually the 2nd day after that I see a weight loss.  So here's hoping when I get on the scale tomorrow it is a different story.

Found an interesting article on Gluten and how you may know if you have a gluten sensitivity...click here to read it.  It is very interesting, I used to have the "chicken" skin on the back of my arms which I thought was "dry skin" interesting how it completely went away when I stopped gluten, along with a whole host of issues.

What is really interesting to me is the number of people who stop eating gluten and other processed foods and suddenly become fertile again after years of infertility...  I think more people should try that option before going thru the expense of fertility treatments, I say try every avenue.

Sorry I am all over the place today, I have 2 more way off topic points and then I will be leaving this ADD post in the dust.

1- My "work at home" mom days are sort of over...no I am not putting my kids in daycare...BUT we have out grown our home office plus off site warehouse and we will now be moving to a new commercial office and warehouse location :) I am so very thankful that we have been so successful :) And I am looking forward to what this big step means for us. I know I don't talk about the company I started much on here, especially in specifics, but I am too excited not to share this tidbit.

2- I got glasses! EEK! I should have been wearing them since about 15 when I was diagnosed with astigmatism, which really isn't a big deal, just means that I am both near and far sighted in a way because images aren't sharp, and my eyes have to work extra hard for me to be able to see.  Here I am:


If I hear one more joke from my DH I am going to go spend a few hundred on contacts....grrr LOL.  Feeling like a big nerd, but honestly contacts are a pain, so I will wear the glasses for a year and then go from there.  I bought these at the eye docs, but I ordered 2 extra pair and a pair of prescription sunglasses from Eyebuydirect.com.  I am in no way affiliated with them, BUT I wanted to tell you about them, I got each pair of glass with anti-reflective and scratch proof for about $20 each, made specifically to my prescription, my prescription sunglasses were about $40.  You can get them as low as 6.95 a pair.  Sooo especially if you have kids that drop and break and lose their glasses...go check them out.

They take about 2 weeks to come in.  I will model them for you when they get here.  You can "try them on" online by uploading a pic of yourself and then they superimpose the glasses on your face. Pretty stinking cool!
