Goodbye 2XL and Its Friday!!!

Its time for Motivational Inspirational Friday!

And today I will tell you what I ate on my "terribly inconvenient way of eating" real food yesterday.

~5:00a Wakeup with 1 cup of black coffee, usually organic, but I was swamped today so I used one of my hubby's k-cups

~8:00a small piece of fresh mozzarella (I don't measure...roughly an ounce if I had to guess)

~1:00p left over shredded crockpot chicken from the night before, plus a splash of salsa (I ate it off a saucer so whatever amount that is)

~4:30p a piece of MSG free no nitrate salami and 2 or so pieces of cheddar, I think I at a slice of my daughters orange also.

~8:00p a burger no bun (we had a date night at Studio Movie grill, slim pickin's)a couple fries (cooked in peanut oil), and 2 skinny margaritas (top shelf tequila, lime juice, splash of agave)

After eating that yesterday so late, I am not hungry this am...which is fine, I have gotten to where just a little coffee in the morning keeps me satisfied until nearly 11 sometimes later depending on my activity level.

Now if you counted the calories in that you might be scratching your head thinking how is that girl surviving?!?!? Or as my yet to be convinced friend keeps saying, "you have to eat!" That is the difference in eating REAL food and eating fillers and processed chemical "food stuffs."

Your intestinal track signals your body to stop eating when it has reached the appropriate levels of vitamins from whatever you are consuming, so if you are consuming over processed food devoid of its nutritional value, you will have to continuously fight your body over cravings (more science on that in another post).  BUT if you begin eating real food (doesn't have to go to a factory to be "altered" "made better or safe" then your body begins to turn off that signal to eat junk and crave foods.  I cannot tell you the last time I had a food "craving" (well I guess I can, it was about 10 weeks ago).  That is not to say I don't have an instance where I think "hmmm steak sounds good for dinner" I don't have the overwhelming urge to eat chickfila or cheese fries or even a cupcake, all of which fell into my favorite food categories.  Now if I am hungry enough to eat dessert, which happens about 1 time every other week, I slice a banana with a little cinnamon and raw hungry and it is 100% satisfying.  It makes this whole weight loss journey EFFORTLESS!

Also in the very satisfying category this morning is that last night before date night I went thru my closet and tried on clothes.  I can say that I was sooo thrilled, I am no officially out of the 2XL size, and not just out of 1-2 brands, out of ALL of them!  Yahoo!

On that note, cheers to a great weekend, even though it is 7am here and I am only cheers'ing my coffee cup.

Yall be thinking of me as I run for the second time in my 32 years with a partner this Sunday.  I am still SUPER nervous.
