Working my Way Back

Thank you all for all of your kind words and thoughts and prayers.  I appreciate all of the comments and emails and messages.  We are doing good, it is hard to re-adjust schedules to kids being home all the time when you work from home.  There are a lot of balls to juggle.

Real food update, I am still eating real food and loving it.  We had the flu for 10 days, it went through everyone in the house...in the 11 years of marriage and 5 years of dating prior, I have only seem him call in sick to work twice, and for maybe a day at a time.  He was home sick with us Wednesday-Friday and should have been at home Monday and Tuesday.  Oh MAN did it SUCK.  But I will say I lost about half a clothing size over those 10 days, so it may be a new diet fad soon, LOL.

I think until my schedule softens up and returns to routine, I am going to change up format a little bit and I hope that you will stick with me until I can get back to my regular shtick.

My goal is 3 posts a week, since in my new schedule I don't wanna give up reading all of my blog friends posts, so on Monday's I will post a blog round up on everything I read and loved over the previous week.  Hopefully you can find some blogs you love too!

On Wednesdays, I will post on how my journey is going.  Towards my next race and continued weight loss and continuing real food practices.

On Fridays I will post my favorite quotes and inspiration and maybe a recipe or two.

Thanks for all your love and support.

Hugs and love,

So I have been a little quiet...

Last week was FULL of challenges, and that lead me to being a little quiet, well a lot quiet on the blog front. I debated and debated writing about this, but alas I feel that all of my loyal readers deserve to know why I didn't Weigh In Wednesday or provide Motivational Friday information for the weekend.

Last week started with a sick 2 year old on Tuesday, then Wednesday we took a gut blow as the leader of our church and my children's Mother's Day Out and Preschool was arrested and charged with sex crimes against a child.  Then we had to make the tough decision not to return to the church and to pull our pre-k'er out of school 2 weeks before the graduation she has been practicing so hard for, and all of the drama that comes with a small town divided and friends of ours that didn't leave and don't like our decision to have left.

As you know I work from home, during MDO times, so there has been a FLOOD of work for me to do, and not much time to do it in.  By the end of the week we were all sick with the same crap my 2 year old had early in the week.

I know that is a LOT for you to process and it was a lot for ME to process also.  I am not feeling eloquent about writing about all of it yet.  So I will try to continue as normal some this week.

Thanks for reading! Hugs and Love,
